We’ll be scootin’ across the floor of the Bogart Ag Building for one more week before dancing our way across the parking lot to the Community Center (more space). Bogart is 15 minutes from downtown Athens. BYO – snacks and drinks.

Improver lesson 7:30.

The foundations lesson* is to help new dancers learn how to do the basics of line dancing. Dances between lessons will be geared toward beginners. Dances after the improver lesson will be geared to that level and higher.
*Foundations class is a borrowed idea from my dear friend Julie Griggs who is killing it with her weekly lessons at Brimstone in Alpharetta.

All ages and experience levels welcome. Come stomp it out on a beautiful hardwood floor nestled in the center of the cutest little town. We will continue to learn basic steps for the first 30 minutes to help build our skills. The lessons have been beginner from absolute beginner through high beginner. We’ll continue to keep what is being taught and danced relevant and fun.

This class has the benefit of students of all levels that come from all around. The music played is country with a heavy side of what’s hot even if it’s not country. The lessons remain beginner due to the nature of a monthly lesson.
